3 stars: I think I'm using the paid for version and it is smooth without ads. It seems to be missing some very common words though. My biggest issue is that the Word of the Day Notification never matches the word that opens when you use it.

4 stars: Good and useful dictionary with a couple of reservations: it's not quite as in depth as I'd like, as I'm a fluent German speaker and it's a little pricey (Samsung phones and tablets offered an older version (Dio-Dict 3) for free that was a little more extensive). Still, considering how much a hard copy would cost it's a bargain. Very easy to use and I particularly like the word of the day feature. It's worth noting that this is available for both languages, something I didn't notice until I'd left the dictionary set to German and the next suggestion was the German one rather than the English one that was in the notification. However, it allows you to browse through previous entries and will show you the one for the currently selected language. Recommended.
