5 stars: I put the TextNow app on the tablet I use at home. Calls are just as clear as making them from a phone. I switched from the free-with-ads version to the fewer ads $1.99 version about 6 months ago. It works, but many of the ads are larger & more distracting than expected. I wish the no-ads version wasn't so expensive. Either way, this is a great app & I really appreciate it.
4 stars: This app is awesome. It's been my lifeline many times when the phone gets cut off for a few days before payday. Having to use wifi does make it difficult, but it is a free app, so I'm not complaining! Also, a lot of places offer free wifi, so it is better than nothing. I also enjoy how you can text, and call without having to use credits, or watch videos. Thanks!
4 stars: I use this app all the time to text my friends!!!! Its really good and the ads dont bother me. I left this review because i want it so there is a bubble kind of think to show the person you are texting is typing. I also want the text overlay thing when you are using a different app to look more modern. Thanks bye 👋 !!
3 stars: I've used this app for about 3 years now and never had an issue up until recently. When I try to respond to a text and/or write a text to someone, it doesn't send it, it just disappears. This happens about 1-2 times per week starting a few months ago, doesn't matter if I switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi and vice versa. Tried uninstall-reinstall etc to no avail.🤷🏻‍♀️
