5 stars: An easy way to check availability and reserve campsites. The ability to change or cancel reservations is also included. Much easier than reserving by phone, plus many campsites are pictured in the app.
5 stars: Easy for elderly to navigate the site. Even on a cell phone. Unlike Reserve America that wants to keep adding fees and makes it so difficult to cancel, that one just gives up and thus an unused site that some other family could have enjoyed.
4 stars: sometimes the app has some glitches to where it doesnt allow you to change the name on the reservation or cancel the reservation if its close to the check in day. it says within 24 of check in day that you can cancel but it gives an error message. The campground is great but over ran with skunks so taking animals is difficult.
4 stars: Great site for campgrounds in multiple states. Easy to navigate. Sites are reasonably priced. I like that there's no 'registration fee' charged to reserve sites. My only issue is that not all sites have pictures.
3 stars: I haven't used the app much in the last 2 months, but before I was having trouble with reserving and making payment and always had to call the usace number. It just happened again on my first res. In 2-3 months. and it is really a shame you can't fix the problem.
2 stars: App/Web and contact center contradicted each other regarding upgrade of a daily pass into an annual pass. Skip using recreation.gov altogether and just get passes at a park, th...
