5 stars: September 1, 2022 Excellent commutation. Clear no lag in transmission. Sept 22, 2022 Update, I've been using this app for a few weeks now and it is still an excellent app. There is no lag, video and sound quality is very good. I've seen other reviews that rate it low due to lag time. I wondered if the difference between their experience and mine could be that I have higher bandwidth and faster network speed. Just a thought.
4 stars: Works very well. But in most cases the called person's device never rings with no notifications, while you as a caller can hear the voice calling ring and after your unsuccessful calls, just the other party will see a missed call in his/her call history. The other issue that I noticed is remaining of call logs in my device while I have turned of this option in my setting.
4 stars: Very useful when you travel a lot and have to speak to your spouse from a variety of hotel rooms. It would be nicer if when the signal quality degrades, it would simply freeze the image, rather than deteriorate and pixelate. And go in and out a bit more smoothly. (Perhaps that's impossible because you would have to introduce a lag into the call). But it's a very very useful tool and I am quite satisfied with it.
2 stars: Don't like the new update and how the video messages expire after 24 hours and are now only 30 seconds instead of 1 minute- See no point in changing it. Should make it optional for them to expire and should make the videos be longer/...
