5 stars: pretty easy to use, great sorting features in the search, easy to view reservations, and a glitch free app. wish I didnt have to constantly reenter my pass number though. campsite maps.very useful, especially when there are specific pictures of each site.
5 stars: very user friendly and well formatted; very easy to navigate. in a lot of ways it's better than the rec.gov website, but it's doesn't have all the general information that the website does. maybe that's not the intended purpose of the app but since the app is called
4 stars: it's pretty ok, occasionally it feels bad that you can ONLY order things through the app/web, when many of the parts (understandably and fairly) have poor coverage/wifi. it's a combination that occasionally makes for frustrating experiences.
4 stars: app is great...the only thing I have trouble with is the filters for the type of electrical. even though I choose 50 amp, it doesn't filter it. other than that, I have no problems with it.
3 stars: Finding an available site was very easy. Little bit slow/unresponsive app. Scanning credit card didn't work. Maps show a topographic look instead of a typical campground site map.
2 stars: App/Web and contact center contradicted each other regarding upgrade of a daily pass into an annual pass. Skip using recreation.gov altogether and just get passes at a park, the rediculous additional fees are waived and they won't lie about the policies like was done to me. On the app itsel...
