5 stars: Needed a refund because I wanted to do the 30 day free trial before activating the annual subscription gift my partner gave me. The refund process was great once I got an email out to the team at Strava. Very pleased with their efficiency and customer service. Plus their app is just great, I feel like I have my own on-demand physical trainer dashboard to see how my efforts are compared to previous weeks. Can not recommend enough!
4 stars: I liked the older versions more. Reason: ability to plan routes without subscription is no longer available. Too bad. Furthermore, I think the user interface is not too intuitive. On the up side, the maps are very good.
3 stars: It's a nice app to connect with friends and share workouts, the motivation boost is helpful and the data the app gives is OK. But recently it's become impossible to use GPS on my galaxy watch 4. Google fit and Samsung fit both work perfectly but strava never gets a GPS connection. Have uninstalled and reinstalled to no effect. Shame really.
3 stars: - Activity does not sync. Have no idea what to do. - The auto pause is not sensitive enough. - If you forget to unpause there is no recovery of unrecorded miles. - See no value of the subscription, so far. - No way to filter out peleton and other annoying activities. Have to mute whole person. Still a decent app. All my friends are using it so I'll live with the downsides.
