5 stars: Best offline maps app I've come across yet. Works especially well for biking. Google maps (even online) keeps recalculating and choosing the worst routes. There are some issues with the app though. The user interface isn't super intuitive and sometimes the announcements of navigation come a bit late in my opinion. Overall though this can't be beat.
4 stars: Great App, but with one caveat. The one thing I hate the most about free apps is the in-app ads. That's why when I discovered Osmand, I immediately bought the Unlimited lifetime subscription. Sadly
4 stars: I use this app a lot. It's pretty lightweight and versatile for my needs. It would be nice if I could change marker icons and colours. Sometimes street names don't appear in a consistent way and I have to put a marker down to find out the name of the street. Also would be nice if there was a map skin/mode that displayed range roads with names more consistently for rural navigation.
3 stars: I've used this to navigate Italy before google maps and data plans were so cheap. It works ok but don't try to search for anything as it returns nothing useful. Good app as long as you know exactly where the location of where you want to go. Rarely use now that offline google maps works decent. Also the user interface is garbage, sorry to the coders but it is. Hopefully it will improve.
