5 stars: I downgraded my review because as of late, this app isn't working the way it used to. It doesn't respond properly, and doesn't mute the music so it can hear me speak, so it does nothing. Very frustrating because I was really happy with it at first. Upgraded my review again because I just got a brand new car with a touch screen, and it works great!
4 stars: Been very happy with this app, because of AA live traffic updates I don't use the car built-in navigation system anymore. My only complaint is that now defaults to dark mode even though I set it to always stay light, both AA and Google Maps. Very frustrating as I have to rely mainly on voice instructions. Hopefully the bug will be fixed on upcoming app updates.
3 stars: I absolutely cannot get Android auto to complete a voice activated phone call. It stopped a few days ago and I have tried a thousand things to get it to work. I can still send text by voice but it will not execute a phone call no matter what. It's unbelievably annoying. I've tried changing cables, uninstalling, reinstalling, resetting the car system etc, etc, etc nothing works, it will not execute an outgoing phone call
2 stars: Recently switched over to Android from iPhone. Between CarPlay and Auto, I found the latter to be laggy and unresponsive.
