4 stars: Please fix version 16.0.10. the application is great and easy to use but this version released Feb 10, 2021 just stops playing 2 minutes after the screen is off even though it shows that it is playing, and only resumes when the screen is on and the application is in the foreground.
4 stars: Recent UX changes deprioritized the actual timer for which the app is named but you can edit in Profile then Settings to change the opening screen. This loads the timer immediately. The old system of having it pinned to the top of the home page was cleaner so you could choose features that were less randomized by suggestions and social media stories. But this is okay.
4 stars: March 8/22 I'm changing my review to four stars because since the update, the app crashes and I have to start the mediation over from the beginning. ***** We use Insight Timer several times a day. I love the variety of meditations available and can always find one that fits my needs.
5 stars: This app has been a blessing and really helps me to manage my stress, anxiety and emotions. The only thing is recently the audio sometimes stops randomly in the middle while playing, maybe a bug? Also, I agree with another reviewer that adding an in-app volume control would be amazing, especially if it could remember the set volume for specific tracks. Some tracks are too quiet even when I set it to max volume, e.g. shower meditation.
