3 stars: App functionally works well. The issue is with Android phones and finding the 'home'. You have to use an Apple product to 'find' the home, then delete the app on your android, reinstall it, and it will work. hopefully EcoBee fixes it. Another annoying feature is the Geofencing. if you leave the fence with two fences within the line, it turns the system off.
3 stars: Great when it works, awful when it doesn't, especially when you need it.. Server issues hit randomly, and when I switch away from the app to do something else, then come back to it, I almost always have to close the app because it sits there with a blank screen and unresponsive menu Items. OnePlus 5t with 8GB of RAM. Also had to manually change my province from AB to ON after initial setup.
4 stars: Slider for temperature selecting is very inconsistent, and sometimes you'll get the desired temp. The schedule for picking times for the system is not accurate to the time you wish it always rounds to the nearest 1/2hr. Other then those issues it really is a good app, and great product. But time will tell if improvements get made.
3 stars: I had it for less than a month. So far it has been OK. One thing I noticed the app tells me my phone is not connected to the internet although it is connected. One more issue I have noticed is that the outdoor weather provided by Ecobee is not accurate. Therefore I don't rely on it for weather info.
