4 stars: I was about to give it 5 stars, but that would have been the right rating for the Amazon echo devices and service, but not so much for the app. The app is still slow, clunky and in many cases states to be having connection issues, even though my phone is having a strong wifi connection. I'm sure we will be seeing improvements in later versions, but for now, there is more work that needs to be done.
4 stars: I had to download/install 3 times before it worked, spent way more time than necessary on set up. The 3rd time it worked as described, very easily, I did nothing different. Regardless, I am happy with device and app. Looking forward to \
3 stars: I purchased during Bestbuy 2020 prime week sale came with free smart bulb..it's worked fine only had to reset once because I change internet providers. I use to control only 3 smart devices..no issues other then I haven't taken time to train it to answer certain questions? I believe that can be done ! 🙂 I enjoy dimming my lights w/o getting out of bed!
3 stars: Alexa has simplified my life. However, the user experience in the app is confusing and app launch takes so much time. The app often gets stuck at splash screen (or I close it after 15 sec) . I use this app to drop in and make announcement to communicate to my kids when I'm gone for shopping. Often my announcements were not broadcasted. I wish there is some kind of acknowledgment if the announcement is successfully broadcasted or not.
