3 stars: The app always changing itself back to using video clips threw the cloud and not continuously record. The notifications settings also glitch. It resends the same notifications, even after you view the alerts. Agravating to have to reset a couple times a day. The cloud button is alway real close to the settings button. So you hit it and throws an add at you.. Cheap tricks to get you to pay for something you don't want.
4 stars: camera and setup very user friendly. no tech experience needed. Updated my 2019 review. Yi have fixed the software update issues and the cameras run perfect. Have recommended to my family and friends. Use one of the outdoor cameras in the polish winter. -25c is nothing to it. Very good system. Cheap as chips. But worth it. Happy to amend my review . Now its been running perfectly for over a year.
4 stars: It's great, I just figured I'd mention that I was not aware at first (and maybe I should've read the instructions) that it wasn't included on the alder home security panel, or app, and that it required wifi to set up the camera. Everything else, I rate very positively.
4 stars: Away / Home group should add all cameras by default. Was not intuitive when trying to figure out why cameras were not synced to the same mode (one home and one away). Kami should have explained the Yi/Kami merger. Could not understand why 2 apps worked for the same camera. Cloud price is high. Would use it if it was cheaper. Otherwise app works well. Ads are...
