5 stars: Excellent Resource. I am a long-time subscriber to the NYT, so I had no problem with access. The recipes are excellent if a bit awkward to find. The cooking skill level is properly assessed but you need some cooking skills to do the easy level. I personally would like the food analysis breakdown, calories, fat, sodium, etc, but its a minor drawback. Very worthwhile.
4 stars: Why is that there is a button for marking if you've cooked something, but no way to search for what you've cooked?! What's the point? The desktop version allows you to filter your search by 200 different factors, including obscure things like \
5 stars: My NYT Food email lines me to this app, which I'd recently installed on my Android phone. Whatever a nice surprise! L ok ve the format with recipes and notes / comments. Let's see how ease-of-use progresses in the near future. Looking forward to using it more. Thanks.
3 stars: I like the app but it does not work well with Facebook. When I click a recipe on my Facebook feed the link opens with my browser instead of the app. I'm then asked if I'd like to use the app and am subsequently directed to Google Play to download and install the app again. This happens each time I try to open the link from Facebook.
5 stars: I love this app! Recipes inspire me to try new ingredients and they're usually delicious. I like listing an ingredient, like fennel or a protein and seeing all the recipe options. I am a better and more adventurous cook! ...
