3 stars: Every change they made to this app made it worse. I can no longer set reminders when I create a task or appointment. I have to use the separate reminder function, which is just an unnecessary duplication of work. Others have mentioned the inability to change colors or drag. Please restore these functions to make the app useable again.

3 stars: Good integrations and usability. Some UX simplification, a setting for default view (e.g. month), and a fully transparent widget (as with Samsung calendar, for instance) would add another star. Also, the extremely fancy \u0026 completely unnecessary updates to icons (value added \u003d 0) for this and other Google apps represent some of the annoying over-thinking which detracts another star.
3 stars: I still don't like the layout and it would be great if it can add a phone call with the number being pulled from contacts. Currently I have to copy and paste into the calendar entry. Also, as soon as it synced my original calendar, I cannot delete entries. I currently have 3 voicemail birthdays that I cannot delete and old repeated entries from 5 years ago.
