4 stars: I've been really enjoying it. Not 5, just for some improvements very necessary on the highlights features, to avoid duplicated entries, and also better language choice, as majority German users should use an option to write all highlights in German, and the default English language could automatically translate everything.
5 stars: So far so good. I planned a route in Garmin, shared the gpx with Komoot. All good. Following I made a detour to avoid a road and it just followed me without nagging me about not being on the planned route. Perfect. I had sound off so I don't know if that would have made a difference.
4 stars: I always plan my MTB tours in Komoot as I think it's the most convenient and then load it onto my Garmin device. On the other hand I connected Garmin connect back to Komoot to publish my ridden tours to the community... too bad common trails are not available like in Trailforks and highlights created on tours are seldomly recognized on later tours when passing the same trails!
4 stars: Probably the best navigation app out there, easy to find your way around, it has a few faults, if you want to edit your return route and the out route are on the same roads the way marker get very mixed up. Really good for finding stuff if you are visiting new regions
