3 stars: First time I installed no problems ..everything worked fine. Then it didn't launch. Uninstaller reinstalled. Will turneverything on but remote features only work netflix. Uninstaller again. Same problem. Have to Uninstall every few days and it semi works. Still using tho. As I lost the original remote and my TV is on a wall I can reach. Lol. Would like it fixed tho.
5 stars: I really like the application. I use it on my phone and my tablet it is so much easier to navigate with it then it is the remote control that came with my Vizio. I have not had any issues with the application. I really love it. My daughter has it on her and says she loved it that is why I tried it. You can control your TV from any place in the home. That makes it really nice.
4 stars: The Vizio Smart cast Mobile App on Google Play is easy and intuitive. For my Vizio TV model (2017) it had to be the primary remote due to the factory one having no d-pad or quick app buttons to open Netflix, Hulu, etc. The menus and features are comprehensive enough to get the most out of one's entertainment experience. I would recommend this app for any owners of a Vizio TV with SmartCast.
4 stars: It's handy for those times you lose the main remote. However, it would be nice be able to power on the TV using the app as it sometimes doesn't work from a cold start up.
