4 stars: This app is great for looking up words. The audio pronunciation is quite handy for odd words. The thesaurus is also useful. I love the word of the day. There are lots of interesting articles about word origins and suchlike, but the app doesn't like paragraphs so it shows as a massive wall of text which I find difficult to read. If that was fixed I would give 5 stars.
3 stars: Dictionary itself is fine, but the app really needs a robust favorites list that you can sync to other devices, sort, quiz yourself etc. Every time I get a different phone I have to start all over. It's not worth the time and effort, so I use the app much less than I would otherwise. Been waiting on this for years, get on it please!
4 stars: Great app, I have on both computer and cell phone. I love the speaker option that allows people to hear how the word is pronounced. Love the word of the day on the cell, it is a great alturnative to the desk pad. A great companion for the intelectual.
3 stars: The same word of the day has been stuck on my screen for weeks, despite my having read more recent words in the word of the day series. Why? If I could afford to upgrade I would, but I can barely afford to eat. This feels like a punishment, or alternatively it could just be a bad app.
