3 stars: The app is useful in that I like getting push notifications for new announcements, but the amount of stuff you simply can't do from the app is a serious drawback (to the experience of Blackboard itself, which already is not stellar). Your course splits you into groups? Well, go to the website to view that. Trying to use this app for anything beyond the push notifications is a constant fight to not have to move to my pc instead.
3 stars: It works okay if you want to access your course material on your phone. But there is no dedicated emailing option, I have to load the desktop version through the app. Also your session times out constantly so you have to log in multiple times a day, really annoying and unecessary.
4 stars: Used the app for almost a year. Most of the functionality works but there are unresolved issues that shouldn't be that difficult to fix. One being the grades only updating after the second time opening the page. It needs some improvement but it is avery handy app.
5 stars: I love that I can use the app and do anything that I can on my laptop. It is also very convenient that a notification is sent once your professor adds a note or update. Not having to sign in online everytime is awesome.
4 stars: Not bad! It's really good to stay notified of all your courses and even allows you to do the work straight through the app! Although some files are not supported by all mobile devices, of course. I recommend it. Very useful.
