5 stars: Changed my life. Not sure what i would do without Plex during this pandemic. This review is only for home server usage. I have not used the free movies, or live tv features. All of the movies I've converted from dvd over the years are now streaming right to my TV from my home server. I'm sharing the content with a few select friends and they're loving it too. Thank you!!
4 stars: It would be nice to have an EQ for the music, and also the cast volume should ideally be controllable through the Android volume UI (like with YouTube when it's being cast). Well developed and with the excellent support database, it's easy to set up a server (requires some technical knowledge).
5 stars: Plex is one of the best things you can have and I would say it's a MUST OWN APP for anyone. Even if you don't want to use the app, the website works great as well. But either way It stores all your different types of media as well as has a bunch of its own now, which is newer features added on. But you would not believe it's free and if you want to add all the features and pay for it, it's well worth it.
5 stars: I don't understand all the negative reviews of this app. I've literally been using Plex Media Server and this app for years and years with very few problems that weren't of my own making. This is hands down the best solution for watching your media from your home network anywhere. I do have a Plex Pass and it's the best investment I've made.
