4 stars: From what I've heard so far this is a welcome alternative to BBC news radio. Yes, there are many establishment commentators, yet there is less of the explicit liberal left bias of our national broadcaster. This is what BBC news radio used to be like. Impartial, fair and balanced. I may be proved wrong but I'm still tuned in to Times Radio.
3 stars: My comment is on the app, rather than the station. The menu needs some... Menu! Barely anything of use there. I'd give it more stars if there were a sleep timer It's a RADIO app; you need a sleep timer! Also, don't disguise links to external sites as menu options.
5 stars: I'm 19 and have grown up with BBC Radio 4 listening to lots of different programs so when I saw this I thought I'd give it a go. Congratulations Times Radio you've won yourself a new listener. The app works fine. Plays the station clearly enough.
3 stars: Generally a good app, but in the blurb it indicates you can download programmes, but I can find a way to do that. That would be useful, but only 3 stars until it gives what it says, or remove it from the blurb.
3 stars: A bit bare bones. It's basically exactly the same functionality as the website - no ability to have a sleep timer or download etc. Nor are the Times podcasts within the app, which would make a lot of sense. Early days though - content is pretty good!
