5 stars: Played for years. Most of the content is free. No annoying ads. You can advance far without paying anything. That being said, you can unlock some nice things for a few dollars. And it isn't pay to win. You have all the advantages without paying anything. You can expand your city for free or with diamonds. Sometimes that takes a while but that's my only complaint. You can also get diamonds for free through buildings like the wishing well.
3 stars: I was enjoying this game, until plunderers ruined it for me. Unfortunately, I enjoyed the building of my city, but not warring, which runs counter to the way the game is set up. Plunderers who repeatedly attack a more defenseless city have the upper hand, making it hard to recover from. So, it's no fun for me anymore. Bye, Felicia!

5 stars: I love this game, it can take a little while to move through the ages without spending money but you can do it, a year ago on my old phone i got up to the industrial age this time i lost the ability to log into my account so i ended up spending a bit of money to move faster through the ages.
4 stars: Awesome game been playing over a year now. Only gaming app to last 12 months without being deleted. Looking forward to many more years. One massive issue...
