5 stars: Google News delivers relevant news articles that are specifically catered to my interests. I like the fact that you can request to see more or less information about a particular topic or from a particular source. I appreciate the fact that the app pulls references from both major and minor news sources. Information is presented in a timely manner as well.
3 stars: The old app was so much better. This new one is a mish-mash of an interface. Harder to find what you want, no apparent way to customize the order of categories, and my custom topics show nothing but unrelated garbage, whereas it didn't before. **Edit: The various updates have brought improvements, but it's still nowhere near as good as the old app.
3 stars: Seems like a nicely streamlined way to access news and entertainment. The interface is user-friendly (though sometimes when I click on the main links at the bottom, i.e. For You, Following, etc. I get no response). My concern : I'm subscribed to The New Yorker, which you can access through this app. But each time it asks me to verify my account, which I do (quickly redirects you to the New Yorker site), though it says \
4 stars: Update: Excellent customer service! I received an immediate response from my initial review and was provided guidance on how to clean the cache to resolve my concern about excessive data. It still requires a lot of data space but I love the app. One recommendation: I would love to have the option to save specific art...
