4 stars: The lock works as to be expected though I would like to have feature where the lock would unlock upon leaving the wifi range. The unlock works when reentering range works great though. The auto lock can be annoying if you spend a lot of time in the garage as I do it locks and you have to unlock it via the app and that can be irritating if you go in and out as much as I do.
5 stars: It's exactly what it should be. No monthly charges, ability to unlock while you approach, add guests to be able to unlock, unlock remotely and much more. Somethings id like updated.. Ability to have guests set their own unlock on approach etc. Be able to add your family without having to have emails for their accounts.. Phone is pixel 2
3 stars: App stopped auto unlocking door, even with appropriate permissions, then stopped connecting to the lock at all. I cannot re-add lock via the app, because it appears some brilliant person(s) at August have failed to maintain their API's SSL certificates. Nice one, August.
