3 stars: Latest update is sooo slow. One might start saving APK files to allow a regression. *** Update regressed back from v10.19.0 to v10.13.2 and fantastic, back to normal working speed. One doesn't have to wait around 20secs to set the heating anymore! Someone should translate regression testing to Centrica. Update (4th Feb) v10.20.0 seems to be far better whoohoo!
5 stars: Brilliant! I love gadgets and this one is great, when you've been out for the day and coming home on a cold day you can turn your heating on before you arrive home so it is nice and cosy. You can also set timers for daily on/off times. Also works through Alexa/Google nest with voice commands 😁
5 stars: It's good, flexible, reactive. It's taken me a while to get used to the different method of adjusting and controlling temp but I'm adjusting. My only worry is if I cant lay my hands on my phone then how do I control my boiler but there's also the thermostatic manual control thing in the living room - which I haven't yet quite mastered.
4 stars: The dashboard display of circles has gone mental. Instead of 2 screens which I had, I now have 4 and not all devices shown either. I have to look at the list screen to get a proper view of the system. Heating on Demand doesn't work consistently correctly 😦. Update 18th Feb... Hive have now improved the system response and functionality and is a lot lot better than when the original review was done.. so now 🙂🙂🙂
