4 stars: Adding a star now that the search at least turns up bylines. Really good looking, slick, simple interface. Would still like to customize my alerts and feed more but all in all a pretty good experience
5 stars: I like the way stories are presented. It gives me a chance to scroll thru the headlines that include photos/art and then select which I want to read.
5 stars: I enjoy reading the articles and looking at the cartoons, first thing in the morning. They update during the day, adding new info and new stories, as they happen. Send me notices.
3 stars: A definite layout improvement from the older WP app on my phone. The larger tablet format is even better but the article text is unreadable (same color as background) in night mode
5 stars: Absolutely the best online news source. Well designed, easy to read (or skim), articles have lots of excellent cross reference or going further links, extremely well written and informative articles. I can't imagine being without it. It is my go-to source especially in our current insane, fake news era. It is a beacon of hope for our democracy and the freedom of the press.
4 stars: Wish it would persist whatever article I was reading when I closed it and later reopened it, otherwise great app.
