5 stars: Easy app to reserve and check-in, but the best part is being able to skip the front desk and use my phone as the room key!
3 stars: Not what it used to be. They moved the directions to the top in a new location. It is now more difficult to click on it from the app. Making it more annoying are these Lfyt links which are bigger than the getting directions. Basically Hilton thinks they should make money off a Lyft partnership instead of Hotel Rooms. Also the digital key is still hit and miss. Some hotels don't allow check in using the app as well.
4 stars: Makes check in/out a breeze. I've had a few issues at various properties with the digital key, but other Hilton properties worked flawlessly. I do enjoy being able to pick rooms from available rooms. Of course room availability is based upon the rate one is paying. So if you want to pick a prime room, pay a prime rate!
3 stars: The app generally works good and is very convenient. However, I can only give it 3 stars as it frequently has trouble in the elevator. I'll either have to close and re open the app a number of times; or wait a long time before it registers. People will walk in the elevator and wonder why I'm just standing there. Also had an instance where my trip didn't show in the app, had to call customer service to get it added.
4 stars: Prior to the update I gave the app 5 stars! It always worked wonderfully. Since the update I have not been able to access my reservations on several occasion...
