4 stars: Overall great concept and gameplay! Grinding is a must, but many ways to get the gold and XP.
3 stars: So here is a big problem with this game: energy system. When you first start playing, you get to play an hour at most. It's not generous, not even in early levels. Usually games with this kind of system give you tons of rewards early so you get hooked to the game. Not this game. It's an ok game, probably 4 stars worth, but energy system kills it a lot.
4 stars: This is a clever and seemingly balanced strategy game that looks fun in its animation and playstyle. The difficulty level is decent, but it seems to increase a little too quickly early on...or perhaps those that are just good at the game can advance further and faster than expected. I hope the in-game currency is balanced enough to experience the fullness of what the game offers without having to purchase items with real money too often.
5 stars: Honestly the best game app that I have downloaded. I have had it on multiple devices. I have also had it on this device, deleted it, and came back to it about a year later. I just wish it would have saved all of my progress from my last download. I do really like the progression while keeping the rounds short enough that I can play a quick game whenever I want.
