3 stars: I'm a native Afrikaans speaker and I was helping a friend learn Afrikaans with the help of this software. The lady's voice is clear, her enunciation is perfect, but the actual translation is .... sub par. I feel like they don't have consistency, they dont explain why certain things change the way they do (language rules) and their spelling (and understanding) sometimes seem lacking. for example, they translate elevator as \
5 stars: I tried a number of Afrikaans learning apps for adults and liked this one best. The subscription is reasonable and the lessons are interesting. I think it was easier because I know other languages though. It would be difficult for a person who didn't know any language but English.
