5 stars: Works great for me, I like being able to sync the videos to my phone, even if it is a little slow, I'm patient enough. I haven't had any of the connection issues others have had. The dash cam has nice features, is simple to use and works great for the price paid. I'll probably buy another or two for my other vehicles.
4 stars: Its a little tricky to connect to the cam, the best thing to do is turn airplane mode on your phone and then turn on just the wifi. U have to connect your phone's wifi to the Roav cam's wifi network. overall a good app, I could see the videos easily once connected. Although, like others I don't see why gps access is necessary
4 stars: For the price the camera is fairly clear and colors are great. The downside is the inability to have mounting options. Would like to dash mount to stay in compliance wih states that do not allow windshield mounting. Will find a way to mount it.
3 stars: Wifi drops a second after connecting so videos can't be viewed using that method. (update 12-29-18) If I turn on airplane mode, my phone connects to the camera successfully. I'm not exactly pleased with that workaround, but I'll tolerate it for now.
