4 stars: great at blocking ads. no question. rarely do they slip through. good if you have specific sites that have troublesome ads. searching can be a bit of a bear, it of course still uses google, Bing, etc. could use refinement on mobile, get rid of nonsense in the menu and place it in a sub menu so to have basics like bookmarks quickly accessible.
4 stars: Edit: I've noticed that recently as I'm typing a response to a forum post, that the browser refreshes the page and I lose whatever I had just typed. Removing one star because of this. ********** Brave has changed my life! I didn't have to install anything other than the browser app. It blocks 100% of the ads. It's solved my issue at that one website and I now zip through the forums! The best browser!
3 stars: For some reason, I started to get redirected from a sight I've been using for months now without being redirected. All my ad block settings are set to aggressive, leaving no room for ads and redirects. I don't know what seems to be the problem, I'm uninstalling brave and reinstalling it...
