5 stars: I love this little game. The art is so cute, the events are fun, and the premise is easy to understand. I do sort of wish that in the base game, there were obvious incentives to upgrading to a new mine to make it more apparent that you're progressing. A different color scheme, some enemies...something.
4 stars: Pretty decent game. The volunteer ads for extras is pretty good, but the game gets monotonous quickly. You will never complete an event unless you pay for it, but you can get halfway if you check on it often. The price to buy currency is very high, so it's recommended to just get as far as you can. There's no reason to beat the events, you'll still get some rewards.

2 stars: Needs work to fix a few glaring issues. 1) When you combine goblins, the math is all off, which is annoying. 2) You collect cards to upgrade certain mine types, yet there is no indication as to what mine type you are currently working in. 3) The goblins can't work diagonally, which slows down progress in a big way.
