4 stars: Update 3/15/23 - Changed from 5 to 4 stars due to annoying way the left screen on my SD2, when displaying the initial on-launch view of the app, the story tiles/thumbnails go off the screen and are not completely visible. I thought Start was specifically designed to display properly in the 2 screens? *****Customizable
3 stars: This app is not working well. It has a huge problem with scrolling, and many of the articles were a couple of months old. There are A LOT of Ads, repetitive ads that don't even take you to a site but another ad for a particular product that ultimately doesn't have the info related to the headline (and my reason for clicking) too much click bait not enough relevant news. I uninstalled.
2 stars: I tried to use the weather app and widget, but they don't automatically update. When I open the app it typically shows the previous night's conditions and forecast. Must close it and reopen to refresh. I switch back to to the default Google widget.
2 stars: The app has a lot to offer but also has some bugs it seems. A couple of gas deals I tried to utilize did not register. Also, the receipt scanning is flawed. Unless the store name is in regular text it will not pick up on it (e.g. just a store logo with the name) unlike other apps which will still identify the store from the logo. The rewards, weather and news in one place is handy though!
