5 stars: Finding accounts that you'll enjoy following is a small hurdle, but after that it's smooth sailing. If you know what you like, you'll love Tumblr. Very customizable. Quick-reblog and queue are both excellent features. Minor problem with spambots, but the report and block features are easy to use so annoyance is minimized. Overall: good app, good platform. Would recommend.
4 stars: For the most part, the app is phenomenal! Sometimes an eerie, off-screen ad will play sound every so often if I have my sound up which is disorienting... My biggest reason for 4 stars is because suddenly my dark mode stopped working on the app! Even with
4 stars: I've been using the app for years & it's always been a mess, but it's actually kinda gotten pretty decent- hell, maybe even good?- since Automattic took over. It still has weird glitches and is overloaded with bots, but it almost never completely breaks, & when it does, closing the app and reopening it is usually enough to fix the problem
3 stars: Having some issues when it comes to uploading text with videos, gifs, or photos. I'll get a connection error, or a 'something went wrong' message, and then it gets eaten by the void, never to be seen again. It would be nice if the post got put into drafts, but it just evaporates.
