5 stars: I gave it 5 stars because It's cute and well paced and a fun way to practice Japanese letters for all three alphabets. The negative points that don't impact my rating are... The upgrade system is a little non-intuitive but you get used to it. The rock paper scissors aspect of combat doesn't feel meaningful. And I can't find out what the arcade is despite playing for a few weeks.
4 stars: limited, but it's very good at what little it does. a harder fox realm, more gear to collect and level up, and more advanced vocabulary would all be appreciated. organizing levels into a map and exploring it to find loot and tackle a boss might also be a good idea. Having only one generic baddie is also pretty lazy. it makes Japanese flashcards a bit less boring, but falls short on the RPG and dungeon elements.
4 stars: After experiencing technical issues with the game, the staff quickly responded and fixed the issues within a quick span of time. Only complaint remaining is the amount of forced ads is somewhat atrocious as every ~2 levels an ad pops up leading to a less productive learning experience. All in all the game is great otherwise
3 stars: Brilliant idea for learning japanese, but the problem is with the other part. When you are connected to internet you get a lot of ads, so you have to close your internet/wifi. also, the attack animations are way too long and time for answering is too short.
