4 stars: Great user experience in terms of using the App. Clear menus and checkout process, however sometimes the deliveries are a complete fail. The riders sometimes deliver to the wrong address, do not show up at all or occasionally steal the food. Refunds are usually given but having to wait twice for the same meal is basically unacceptable. An unfortunate reality of the business.
4 stars: Good app so far but recently they removed the help option during lunch hours from order which is fine if they only allow the user to cancel order if the restaurant hasn't accepted it. So currently what we have is no option to cancel at all if restaurant is late to accept the order, resulting in us getting our food incredibly late. Still better than all the competitors with solid selection.
3 stars: App is OK but the fees are expensive. There's a service fee and a delivery fee and a bag fee, so it ends up being much more than you expect when you get to the check out! Then they want you to tip the driver on top! Deliveroo plus is hardly worth it either because the service fee goes up the more you spend but you have to spend a certain amount to get free delivery. I will be sticking to just eat I think.
2 stars: Slow, expensive (JustEat regularly cheaper for same restaurants), wrong/no product available and no way of contacting Deliveroo during excessively slow delivery. Our orders regularly take over an hour and a half to travel 1.5 miles. You cannot get help from the app. Also ...
