3 stars: it's great for news, weather and lists, all the simple things. when it comes to searching questions, its pretty bad, often not catching the right words. the call quality is really bad for the recipient too on all my devices. it's pretty handy to have but has a long ways to go.
5 stars: I love that Alexa can communicate with devices in the house. We setup light switches and etc around the house. To be able to turn them on and off via voice command is neat. For me, my fav is wakeonlan feature for my PC. So I can remote desktop my computer at home from anywhere in the world when I need to. To think I grew up on dial up internet where you lose connection because someone picked up the phone.

3 stars: Very good. Easy to take central control of different makes of smart devices. Update May 2022:- the latest update completely trashed the app on my 2 older amazon tablets, running fire os 5. It now just crashes and won't open at all. However, the app seems to still work on a newer amazon tablet running fire os 7. Amazon should tell it's users if the new version will only work on os 7.
