3 stars: Overall is good, except the thing that when driving, there are not enough alternative routes to choose from, and usually I have to make my own research to improve the route. Another thing is the auto rerouting without permission from user. If I stick to some route it is for a reason, I don't want it to be changed if I don't accept it.
4 stars: 1. Please put the compass back in navigation mode. My old iPhone version of Google Maps has a little compass to the right during navigation mode, so if I have to make a series of turns, I still know which way is North. 4 stars: Voice navigation is broken. It won't tell me when to turn. Edit: did everything twice. Unplugged USB plugged it back in. Logged out and in and cleared cache. Turned off Bluetooth turned it back on. Something made it work again. I can't hear it through my car speakers but it works now so I'm happy.
4 stars: I'm quite fond of the real time traffic updates. I like that the app dims for tunnels and at night. However, during this night mode, when you reach your destination you are blasted with the full bright screen just as you're trying to park. Keeping it dark would be great.
