5 stars: Great news app. I never have a problem getting the updates when I'm not on wifi. Sometimes I can't get anything on the CNN app, but BBC never fails. They cover current events from the UK perspective, of course, but they have a global focus on science \u0026 technology,p music and the arts, and interesting features. There are also specialty features, both in print and video, which focus on non-subjects

3 stars: What's normally a great source of news has become a frustrating experience. Some sections now have just one story (UK news, Entertainment), what happened to the rest? I contacted the app team through the support email but no response. Definitely seems to be a problem with the Android version but no sign of a fix...or any word from the BBC on similar Play Store reviews to admit that the problem exists.
3 stars: The app is good but cannot get the music to shut off. Tried going into the settings and turned off what I thought I needed to and compared my settings to my partners and he does not get the music but I continued to. Most frustrating and made me jump every time it went off. So had to delete the app.
4 stars: It used to have problems with different contents on different web pages not always responding. But, like most things BBC, stick with it and they get it cleared up , which they did. A great relatively unbiased so...
