4 stars: I like this application overall but the new home screen layout is terribly inefficient and not as easy to navigate as the previous layout. It is far inferior and lacks the user friendly design from before the update. The video quality is good, the sound is also good and the application is overall very useful and convenient. It is easy to use and an excellent application to stay in touch with kith and kin.
4 stars: After I moved country, this app has really helped me keep in touch with old friends in a way that could work around timezones and still have the experience of a video call. It's so much more convenient to rant through a video where your friends can see your expressions than it is to type it all out. Sad that they made a lot if basic functions premium though but it is still very usable as a free app.
3 stars: All good things come to an end, well in this case 'free things' come to and end. I really like using this app to keep in touch with my partner, as his career takes him on the road. $12.99/month or $40/yr (discounted - reg $120)! That's a drastic jump from free. I would have given this app a 5 star review but I just can't at that price. Now I'll have to set aside hours, as I have to try to save several years of content one video at a time.
