5 stars: The perfect chat app. Syncs between phones and computers. Great video/audio/text setup. Usable without a cell phone, which is great for kids. In fact, kids can easily figure out how to use it. Too bad it's being deprecated. I hate how it tries to redirect you to Meet, and that group calls no longer work. Not sure what chat app to switch to... I don't like Whatsapp. Back to SMS? But groups!
3 stars: I have the same issue as Freddy Larson, that the app keeps crashing and stuff, but other then that I do like the app a lot. UPDATE: Got a new phone. I never updated hangouts on my old phone so that might've been the issue. However new problem With one of my friends, I can click to call and voice call and all that but when I go to any other friend, it immediately makes a Google meet link! I don't want to do a Google meet, so I'm mad
5 stars: I have been on hangouts for more than two and a half years, everything was perfect, until i was asked to switch over to google chat, since the switch, i have lost the lines of communication with my fiance who is active duty right now. I havent spoken, chatted or been able to with him for a whole week. I need for the switch to be removed, i DO NOT like it, please switch me back to the regular hangouts appl, please.
