5 stars: Using Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra now with the April 2021 update. 4K recording corrupts with Camera2API, and setting fps to anything other than 30fps with ALWAYS try to record at max 120fps, even if you set it to 60fps. Also, the volume key record with ONLY work if the screen is on, if you turn the screen of and hit the button, it doesn't work, and turning the screen back shows the service has stopped completely.
3 stars: When we stop recording by clicking on the main panel of the app it only pauses the timer of the app main panel (it should reset it, because we don't know if the recording is only paused). The timer even remains after deleting the video.
5 stars: Excellent app, you can keep recording even with screen off and also you can swipe close the app screen and it keeps recording until you hit stop. You can record even whilst watching a video in another app and choose either front or rear camera, love it!!
4 stars: I was able to use this app with my Samsung S7 recently i updated to S20 FE since then this app doesnt record anything. Recording start within few seconds recording automatically stops. Nothing is visible gallery too. Edit : followed dev's suggestion and its working fine. Change my rating to 4 star
3 stars: It is a good app for recording video in background but it only takes 1080p regardless of whether your camera supports 4K or 8K. The quality is downgraded to 1080p.
