3 stars: I'm just finding my way round the app. The reasons for three stars are that 1. my library came pre-loaded with podcasts that were of absolutely no interest to me. Even if they had been of interest, this feature was unwelcome. 2. Podcasts are randomly switching off during play. 3. It is not as intuitive as I am used to. I am going to give it another few days but may look for an alternative.
3 stars: The adds I can deal with, it's the stopping of what I'm listening to be that annoys me. Half way through the podcast it'll just stop or in the case of well known podcasts like the Trevor Noah show it'll just jump to a new episode. The app is easy to use and has a great variety, it can just be supremely annoying.
4 stars: Has all my podcasts which is impressive. But... when I pause it then play again later it takes like 10 seconds before it actually starts to play, despite being audio only and fully downloaded to my phone. Sometimes the app goes to a white screen and reloads itself when going back a few screens. I'm on Android 10 One device and fully updated so whatever the problem is, it's in the app.
5 stars: Though ads may be necessary to keep this app free I am more than happy to live with that minor irritation as the ads don't interrupt the flow of the podcasts and I can dismiss them easily (as a child I was taught to ignore all advertising - adverts only exist to separate me from my money).
