4 stars: The Canvas Student app has its flaws, but overall it works pretty well (most of the time). Many parts of the app have to be completely reloaded when you leave the app and open it again, which can get very annoying. The Google Calendar and Zoom integrations are cool though. I would like dark mode to be added, especially because the Canvas Parent app already has this feature (why can't students have it too?).
3 stars: The app works fine. It is a little buggy but fine for the most part. The home screen widgets are very helpful in theory, but in practice all they do is say no items to display. If the widgets get fixed this app will be great, but until then it is just 3 stars.
5 stars: This app performs much better than most web portal apps that I have used in the past, particularly Aeries. It's smooth, does not crash often, and has a beautifully simple display. I am happy this app is so well designed.
3 stars: The app is good, but I can't receive notifications about the recent assignments or activities posted by my teachers. I checked the settings and look for notifications, and there I saw the 'push notification'. When i tapped it, it load for awhile, but suddenly stopped saying 'notifications are not registered for this device.' I hope you can fix this. By the way, I am an android user. Thank you!
5 stars: Works very well compared to many mobile apps that connect to educational web portals. Haven't had anything crash or break so far. For people complain...
