5 stars: Scotty Kilmer recommended. This little thing is invaluable when buying used cars. It gives descriptions and possible issues for codes as well. You want to make sure you update the firmware first. Then, when you first start up the car, plug it in and let its magic work on the test drive. You won't regret it. It has saved me thousands in the short time I've had it. Weeds out bad cars before I take them and pay a mechanic to inspect.
3 stars: I like the bluedriver scan tool for reading check engine light stuff. And it does give you a few things to watch live data on. Only problem I have had with it is it won't read airbag codes on any vehicle I have put it on. It does say it will read airbag codes ABS codes and all that but it will not on any vehicle app hooked it up to like I said. It's been mainly GM vehicles. That's the only downside for me.
4 stars: Feel a little ripped off. I advertisement made it sound like there were so much you can do with this. I think I could have gotten one for half price that with same features. App doesn't look like I can configure what I can monitor. Thought I could set up a screen with dials like on the dash board. Ill keep playing with it.
