5 stars: Incredible free calling and texting app. I tried five or six different supposedly free calling apps before I found TextNow and they were all nonsense. As long as your Wi-Fi reception is good you will get perfect call Quality and texting. I was between jobs and I couldn't afford to pay my phone bill so this app really bailed me out in a jam by allowing me to make free calls. I would recommend it to anybody.
5 stars: I've had TextNow for over 3 years. It's totally free, not like any other phone app that tries to claim the same thing. I've tried others but haven't found any that compare to TextNow. Yes, there is some unwanted ads, NP, I'm ok with it. Deal with it. Free has a slight cost. I did have a problem with the playback of messages but after I posted about it here, it is now fixed. Thanks for great response!
4 stars: Good starting out, progressively declining. When I first got the app, it had a few issues but worked the best out of similar apps. However in recent weeks it has become unusable, not sending messages, nor answering calls or even allowing you to call numbers back. Honestly about to delete if it gets any worse. Edit; has improved since and become more usable again. Calls still drop sometimes, but manageable
