5 stars: I appreciate this app because it has helped me socialize without feeling obliged. In living in NYC it is wonderful to connect with others because a lot of times, it often quite difficult to that, have received disappointing expectations. But with this, it's easygoing and chill. And I appreciate that.
3 stars: The Meetup Service is fantastic, and the mobile app UI makes it even more practical, but i can't view my info or saved events offline. If it needs to have internet to function, this should be a hybrid app that i can add from chrome to my android phone, and should only take up a few KB
5 stars: Have been a member since 2005. Great way to meet people with common interests. Have attended meetups in at least 9 or 10 states through the years while traveling for work. Has been particularly valuable during Covid-19 crisis. Attended a virtual group meeting and took a virtual dance class this week. Would not have known about either one without Meetup.
5 stars: The app is great \u0026 the help desk is pretty good too, if you ever have any problems. I've met so many lovely people thru meetup. It's changed my life.
3 stars: Not really that good. Lots of old profiles left on to make it look like there's more people than actually is. Can't clear unwanted likes, closed profiles or inappropriate profiles.
