5 stars: By far the best podcast (and radio) app out there. The developer is very active and keeps bringing improvements to the app for quite a few years now which means that the app is difficult to beat in terms of completeness and stability. Recommended without any hesitations! And yes there are many options that make it sometimes a bit complicated but once you understand the logic and menus you can do whatever you want.
5 stars: By far the best podcast app I've tried. It's highly customizable. I was happy to donate for the ad free version, though the ads were very unobtrusive which is appreciated. I have just one feature suggestion, in the data management settings, it'd be cool to be able to disable auto updates on mobile data but still allow for manual (drag down) updates. I'd like to have auto updates only on wifi but be able to manually update any time.
4 stars: Pretty good podcast app. I downloaded it purely to keep track of an rss feed (bc stitcher doesn't do that apparently) which was incredibly easy to do. There's a lot of settings to go through so if you want an app with a lot of options then this is a good one for you. I found the mechanism to play through an entire downloaded series a pain but it's not hard to figure out nor too much effort to do in the end.
