4 stars: It's a great app and I would buy the full version if it were more realistically priced. I wonder if it's aimed at language teachers who can use it as a useful tool for teaching, then the price would make sense, but someone like me who will dip in once or twice a week it's hard to justify the hefty price tag. Any deals on the horizon, FluentU?
5 stars: Great for those of us who are sufficient when speaking but need practice with targeted listening. I love the quiz features for comprehension checking!
5 stars: Excellent app for beginners! Well laid out and well paced. Allows user to set their own pace but provides clear goals and aims. Great combination of visual and audio cues, and heaps of opportunity to practice and repeat word/phrases. I find this up much more helpful than the very popular Duolingo
4 stars: If you want to pick up German expressions quickly then you can use FluentU to quickly build vocabulary and comprehension skills. You will also be able to correctly spell words. I would recommend that you try speaking the solutions yourself to increase your speaking skills. Well designed app with interesting subjects and illustrations.
5 stars: Very useful I am learning Japanese at beginner level, and this is the best app I have used. Very easy to follow, plus useful features like daily goal and flash cards. I would recommend to any one who is having trouble picking up a new language.
