3 stars: Everything else seems to work, except smart notifications. It shows my Facebook messenger notifications, but not my text messages. Facebook Messenger is not my default text app, either. Garmin Support told me this is known and they took some information for the open case. 5 stars when everything decides to work as it should.
4 stars: I constantly have to reset bluetooth anytime i run the device, an extra 2 or 3 mics woud help a lot. While asking alexa for diections i have to be incredibly precise and even then she offers directions to cities and towns in europe. At times i have to yell even when quiet to get confirmation ring.
5 stars: easy to put address in phone or cut/copy. Gets me to where I'm going every time. Can enter the address ahead of time and when you get in to your vehicle it automatically uploads predetermined location.
4 stars: there's no point transferring video to your phone if it's high res, as it can't be played on it. instead, you have to pull the SD card from the Garmin 66w, or connect your laptop to it and transfer the video. transfer times are pretty slow, but it works.
5 stars: Great little device...way more than just a dash cam. Won't drive without it.
3 stars: if not connected to internet will not transfer destination details from contacts. A pain if in underground garage.
