3 stars: Pretty good. Sometimes it seems like the app and the device aren't sure who's the boss. Sometimes the timer restarts. It just does some strange things. I've just gotten in the habit of not using the timer. I wish it worked better, but the Anova cooker itself is incredible. I wrote this review over a year ago. It still works abiut the same.
5 stars: i have really enjoyed the convenience of the app. getting the notifications is great when the process can take a bit of time. The recipes have been a great help as well. i didnt realize there were so many things i could Sous Vide.
5 stars: Setup was fairly easy. The only hiccup, was that I had to momentarily turn off the 5ghz channel on my router to connect the Anova. After that, it's a breeze. dinner is prepped by the time I get home from work. After that, a quick sear, and dinner is served.
5 stars: very happy with this appliance. The only issue is with wifi connectivity. Very confusing setup. especially if you have to switch networks. I basically gave up on that, just use bluetooth.
4 stars: Has totally changed how we cook and love it for the most part. Only reason for not giving 5 stars are some connectivity issues and the app could be improved a little bit. Feels clunky at times but otherwise pretty awesome.
